Gear that's already been through a season

We don't stock things we don't use. Everything in the store is kit that runs in the program every week — the leads, whistles, and bumpers I hand to owners at pickup so they can keep the work going at home.

What we carry

The short list

A gundog doesn't need much — it needs the right few things, used the same way every time. That's the whole list.

  • LeadsSlip leads and traffic leads that hold up to daily field work and wet dogs.
  • WhistlesPealess whistles and lanyards — the same tone your dog was trained on.
  • BumpersCanvas and plastic bumpers for marks, memories, and delivery-to-hand work at home.
  • CollarsField collars built for brush and water, not the sidewalk.
  • ApparelMcKinney Gundogs caps and shirts for the people who keep showing up.

Stock rotates. If you're after something specific — or you're an MG owner replacing kit your dog already knows — email me and I'll point you at the right one.

Keep the work going at home

01

Same whistle, same tone

Your dog was trained on a specific whistle. Using the same one at home means you're not asking him to relearn a cue he already owns.

02

Short, consistent sessions

Five clean minutes with a bumper beats an hour of drilling. Two bumpers and a lead cover almost everything you'll do in the yard.

03

Come back before the season

Gear wears out and so does timing. Most families book a fall tune-up — bring the dog, bring the kit, we'll sharpen both.
